The Custom
Your skin is unique, so your facial should be too.
After discussing your skin concerns and goals, your treatment will beÂ
customized accordingly. It will include breathwork, Aromatherapy (If desired)Â
Double cleansing, warm compressing, gentle exfoliation, massage of the face and neck, and a skin-specific mask. (Please note: Extractions will only be performed if requested because I find that they disrupt the calming flow of the treatment. I use Lymphatic drainage techniques and drawing clays to reduce and eliminate congestion. This method is much gentler for the long term health of your skin.)
The Light Powered Nap
Celluma LED provides compromised cells with the energy to regain and restore vitality naturally.
It’s powerful, deeply penetrating wavelengths are absorbed by photoacceptors in the mitochondria. This process increases the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) - the fuel that drives all cells. This boost of cellular energy results in a cascade of metabolic events leading to an increase in micro-circulation, tissue repair and a decrease in inflammation and pain. (For best results, 2-3 treatments per week are recommended.
The Chinese Facelift
Facial Gua Sha is an Ancient Chinese therapy to rejuvenate the skin.Â
A gemstone (Jade, Agate or Rose Quartz) is gently guided across the facial and neck muscles to increase circulation by up to 400%, stimulate healthy lymphatic flow, reduce tension and sculpt the face. This treatment includes cleansing, gentle exfoliation, the use of serums and a lightweight, plant oil high in essential fatty acids to strengthen the skin. A Marine Algae, cooling mask will be applied after Gua Sha to deeply hydrate and soothe.
My Story
From The Big Apple to the Salt City
I began my study of Skin Therapy at New York School of Esthetics in Tarrytown, NY in 2013. Upon graduation, I started working for The Ritualist- A luxury mobile spa company in Manhattan. I traveled around the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn offering organic, bespoke facial treatments to beauty editors and bloggers. While being a mobile therapist was wonderful, I knew that I wanted to be in space that was Holistic in nature. This led me to Ohm Spa & Lounge in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. During my 2 ½ years at Ohm, I learned to harness my empathic gifts, and gained a loyal following of clients.
I'm deeply passionate about my work and am continuously educating myself not only on the latest advancements in skincare, but on the mind/body connection and its relation to chronic skin conditions. I work extensively with my clients to find the root of their conditions, and often recommend meditation techniques and the guidance of Nutritionists and Alternative Healthcare Practitioners to not only improve, but heal the skin.
I'm trained to perform Facial Gua Sha, an ancient Chinese technique that stimulates circulation, encourages healthy lymphatic flow, decreases fine and deep set lines and wrinkles, and decreases muscle tension in the face and neck. I believe in the power of meditation and breathwork, and incorporate these modalities into my treatments.
In my spare time, I greatly enjoy reading, podcasts, cooking, yoga, and spending time in nature with my beautiful family- My Partner Kris, Son Kristopher and Daughter Elizabeth,
